News of her death was announced in a online announcement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Understanding the Illness
In a personal essay in November, she disclosed that she had been suffering from AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a disease that originates in the bone marrow and blood cells.
