AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret sect.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an special katana alongside numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
